10^100

Its been around a year or so. And right from the start, to this day today, things between us seem too good to be true. You've changed me. And i don't care whether its for the better or for the worse.

If you remember a song i'd made you listen on Marine Drive, some months back - i think it was June - just when we'd begun the quest to search out that burger place which was supposed to be near Churchgate. The song was "Space Dye Vest" - perhaps the strongest songwriting i've ever seen from Dream Theatre. There's a verse from there which goes something like,

"And I'll smile and I'll learn to pretend
And I'll never be open again
And I'll have no more dreams to defend
And I'll never be open again "

I really don't want that to happen. At one level, I'm scared. At another, i'm extremely proud. I want you to have the best, and i know that whatever will happen will happen for the best.

I know you've already detected it. Thanks for playing along.

Love you.

Keep your promises...

Feb 1 and Feb 2 2008 were magical, inspirational, and breath-taking nights. Perhaps it was the Secret at work, or just sheer hard-work (yeah, rite) on my part, but i managed to successfully share a meal with Iron Maiden, and witnessed my first ever live performance by the six-tect from East London.

'Twas then that the air-raid siren promised us that they would be back in a year. And being the gentlemen that they are, here's some news that just made my morning brighter than a thousand suns.

Iron Maiden hit Bangalore on Feb 15th, to continue their Somewhere In Time World Tour.

The tour, which kickstarted in Mumbai this year on Feb 2 has largely featured the following setlist:
1. Churchill's Speech
2. Aces High
3. 2 Minutes to Midnight
4. Revelations
5. The Trooper
6. The Number of the Beast
7. Can I Play with Madness
8. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
9. Powerslave
10. Heaven Can't Wait
11. Run to the Hills
12. Fear of the Dark
13. Iron Maiden

14. Moonchild
15. The Clairvoyant
16. Hallowed Be Thy Name

The last time, i cried my heart out as Dave Murray strummed the opening chords to Moonchild on his sunburst Givson, giving way to the madness that ensued with the triple axe attack. My only wish is for them to include "The Evil that Men Do".
I'm back...
And i'm better than ever.

Note: Please ignore, or glance through the archives. Times have changed, and so have i. Ver 3.0 will seek to achieve new heights, push the boundaries of blogging ability, expand the reader's horizon, mindset, and intelligence, question authority, fight the powers that be, be the change, be the voice, urge the reader to think. But more importantly, it will, and it will always, be what it was originally set out to be.

A collection of ramblings.

Have fun, you little vicarious pup you...

The Blog is Dead... Long Live The Blog!

The past year, or Version 1 ('I Own You') has gone by, leaving behind a sense of absolute nothingness in me - for almost a whole month, I didn't update the blog, did nothing about it, even removed the address from my e-mail signatures. Ver 1.0 introduced me to an aspect of my life that I was aware of, and turned it into a concrete reality - I like random, and trivial information - whether it was about music, wrestling, work, play, or the personal walk. And I accept that. It's all a part of me. It is me.

So, the experiment has reached an end. A year of trivial and random findings, thoughts, opinions, views, pictures, animations, sounds, yadda-yadda, shit, cool, funky, great, naice, you get the drift.

In the near future, I do expect a re-start. Then again, updating an online diary of sorts takes some commitment, patience, dedication, perseverance, imagination, creativity, thoughtfulness, thought-less-ness, surety, and a good internet connection. Maybe it's time for a restart.

Browse around...
